The first general parade of the newly selected constables of Dhamtari district was held, and the SP delivered a message of discipline.

Dhamtari: SP Suraj Singh Parihar recently inspected the first general parade of the newly selected constables. On this occasion, he meticulously and thoroughly observed the constables’ physical fitness, parade discipline, uniform, and overall presentation. During the parade, the SP gave the new constables necessary and important instructions regarding discipline, dedication to duty, punctuality, uniformity, and maintaining the dignity of the police force. He clearly stated that the identity of the police force lies in its discipline, conduct, and uniform, which builds trust and respect for the police among the general public.
The new constables were also made aware that officers and personnel who perform well and excel in their duties will definitely be rewarded and encouraged, while those who are negligent in their duties, undisciplined, or perform poorly will face strict disciplinary action and punishment. This policy is essential for maintaining discipline and efficiency in the police force. Inspector Chandrakant Sahu
Assistant Sub-Inspector Dinesh Chandel, Head Constable Girish Nag, Head Constable Daulat Markam, Constable Bhuvan Bhakta, Constable Salik Ram, Constable T. Sinha, Constable Bhimsen Sahu. Meanwhile, Assistant Sub-Inspector Birendra Bais and Constable Shatrughan Prasad (Traffic Branch) were given a reprimand in their service books for not adhering to the prescribed uniform standards and were given strict instructions for improvement in the future.
It is noteworthy that in the 2024-25 constable recruitment examination, 106 constables (GD) and 2 trade constables, a total of 108 constables, were selected in Dhamtari. Of these, 28 female constables, 32 male constables, and 2 trade constables, a total of 62 new constables, have already joined. As per the orders of the Police Headquarters, 30 male constables and 21 female constables will be sent to the Training School, Rajnandgaon, for basic training on January 11, 2026. Superintendent of Police Suraj Singh Parihar concluded by expressing his expectations from the new recruits, stating that no laxity in discipline will be tolerated during the training period and that all new constables should prepare themselves to become disciplined, dedicated, and exemplary police officers.
