The list of new Tamil Nadu party candidates will be released tomorrow: K. Krishnasamy

Tamil Nadu: The New Tamil Nadu Party’s candidate list will be released on Sunday (March 29), party leader K. Krishnasamy said.
Puthiya Tamil Nadu Party leader Krishnasamy, who arrived in Chennai by plane from Coimbatore, told reporters at the Chennai airport: “We are going to release the Puthiya Tamil Nadu Party’s candidate list on Sunday. Work is underway to field candidates for 60 to 70 seats. We contested the 2024 elections in alliance with the AIADMK to change the government in Tamil Nadu. After that, we also discussed an alliance for the 2026 assembly elections. However, the AIADMK ignored us without respect.
There will be a price to pay for this. Edappadi Palaniswami is confident that Amit Shah will somehow make him Chief Minister. He has given the BJP 27 unwinnable seats.”
He isn’t forming an alliance with the goal of winning elections, but rather believes that having a few people around him win is enough. This is why the New Tamil Nadu Party withdrew from the AIADMK alliance. He stated that if alliance talks progress, they will consider it.
