GPM . In the district, a father stabbed his own son to death during a domestic quarrel. In the quarrel between the accused father and the mother, the son tried to save his mother. Meanwhile, the accused father attacked his own son with a knife. As soon as the incident was reported, the Gaurela police reached the spot and with the help of 112, the young man was taken to the hospital, but by then he had died. After which the police registered a crime against the accused father under section 103 of BNS and arrested him.
According to the information received from the police, the deceased has been identified as Rajendra alias Raju Sathe, father- Dinkar Sathe (58 years) resident of Samantpur, Gaurela police station area. Both father and son had the habit of drinking alcohol and there used to be a quarrel between them every day. Last night also, Rajendra and his wife had an argument due to family reasons, during which Akash (deceased) also reached there and started defending his mother. After which the dispute between father and son escalated so much that the accused father attacked his son Akash with a knife on his neck and chest, due to which Akash died. At present, the police have arrested the accused father and are engaged in further action.
