Bhopal (IANS) | After the announcement of Gandhi Peace Prize being given to Gita Press, a round of political backlash has begun. Responding to the questions raised by the Congress, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that the country has come to know about the appeasement politics of the Congress. The Central Government has decided to give the Gandhi Peace Prize for the year 2021 to Gorakhpur-based Geeta Press. On this, senior Congress leader in charge of media and general secretary Jairam Ramesh not only raised the question but even said that it is like awarding Savarkar and Godse.
Responding to Jairam Ramesh’s statement, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Mishra said, “Gita Press is the biggest center for publishing our Sanatan literature, Congress may have objection because it publishes only Gita and Ramayana. This is their There can be pain. This is their appeasement. They have not taken any respect in hundred years. Even after this they have objections. This country understands why they have objections.
