Business Business: Toyota Kirloskar Motor registered a 14% year-on-year growth in September 2024. The company reported wholesales of 26,847 units for the month. Of these, 23,802 units were sold in the domestic market and 3,045 units were exported. Interestingly, the Japanese automaker recorded wholesales of 23,590 units in September 2023. The company said that the SUV, MPV and small car segments registered significant growth across the country, accounting for more than 90% of its sales in September 2024.
Additionally, the company registered total sales of 1,62,623 units in the first 6 months of FY 2024-25. This is the company’s highest ever result in India. The company had sold 1,23,939 units in the same period last fiscal.
