The alliance between DMDK and DMK is Stalin’s diplomacy: Thirumavalavan

Tamil Nadu: Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu leader Thollam Thirumavalavan said that the DMDK’s alliance with the DMK was a diplomatic move by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.

A grand triple celebration took place on Thursday night in Senchi, Villupuram district, marking the inauguration of the VVIP district office, the merger of the Ambedkar People’s Party with the VVIP, and the distribution of election funds.

Later, at a public meeting, Thirumavalavan said: The DMDK’s joining the DMK was Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s diplomacy. The DMDK’s stance has had a huge impact on Tamil Nadu politics. It was a blow to opposition parties.

The VKC also had the option of joining the AIADMK or the newly formed Vijaya Party-led alliance. We are continuing with the DMK’s Secular Progressive Alliance without attaching any significance to it.

Weakening the DMK is one of the BJP’s plans, but this has not been possible in Tamil Nadu.

Not a single party has yet joined Vijay’s party. Parties that were already in the alliance are showing hesitation in joining the AIADMK alliance. He stated that a strong alliance led by the DMK will achieve a landslide victory in the upcoming 2026 elections.

The Ambedkar People’s Party, formerly run by lawyer Mashalimeni Pandian, joined the VVIP.

MLA Senji K.S. Mastan, VSC Regional Secretaries Advocates Nanmaran and Thileepan, District Secretary Senji Siva, and the VSC Administrator attended the meeting.
