Maharashtra: Minister of State for Urban Development, Social Justice, Medical Education, and Minority Development, Madhuri Misal, on Tuesday stated that the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, titled Hind Ki Chadar, should not be limited to Nanded but should be taken to a global level. She directed the administration to work with coordination and proper planning to ensure the event’s success.
Misal reviewed preparations for the mega event via video conferencing. District Collector Rahul Kardile, State-Level Committee Coordinator Rameshwar Naik, Committee Chairman Vijay Satbir Singh, Divisional Deputy Director of Information, District Information Officer, and heads of various departments were present during the review meeting.
Misal stated that the event, scheduled for January 24th and 25th, will attract people from across the country and abroad. She directed officials to ensure adequate drinking water, sanitation, and toilet facilities at the venue. He also stressed the need for large-scale publicity through social, electronic and print media.
