Thaveka will contest all 234 seats independently — Sengottaiyan

Tamil Nadu: K.A. Sengottaiyan, the Chief Coordinator of the party’s Executive Committee, stated that the TVK would contest—and win—all 234 seats in Tamil Nadu independently.

The Tamil Nadu government should issue a Government Order to conduct a caste census study near the ‘Kalaimadu’ statue in Erode. TVK members staged a protest in Erode on Thursday; they accused the Tamil Nadu government of failing to maintain law and order and failing to curb narcotics, and demanded the withdrawal of guidelines implemented to restrict the ‘Vijay Makkal Jana Iyakkam’ (Vijay People’s Movement) programs.

Participating in this protest, TVK Executive Committee Chief Coordinator K.A. Sengottaiyan told reporters:

“Vijay will visit Erode, and we are working towards this. No one can stop the TVK from governing Tamil Nadu. History will be made wherein, across all 234 seats, the only individual who becomes a Member of the Legislative Assembly will be the one representing the TVK.”

“The BJP’s allies do not speak about the DMK; they speak only about Vijay. The people will not accept anyone else as their Chief Minister.” He reiterated that the TVK would win all 234 seats on its own.
