Maharashtra: Bhadant Ajahn Jayasaro, a monk of the Thai royal family, along with other monks from Thailand, embarked on a special auspicious dialogue Dhamma Yatra in the rural areas of Buldhana district.
Bhadant Jayasaro arrived at Dhammasara Shantibhumi in Takli Waghjal on the afternoon of December 27th. He visited Korhala Bazaar on December 28th. Volunteers from the Dhamma Kranti Group, Rajendra Sonone, Vijay Ujagar, Advocate Pukhraj Suradkar, Shravan Ingle, Swapnil Suradkar, Sachin Ujagar, Deepak More, Sachin Birhade, Karan Hiwale, Gaurav Kharate, and others welcomed the monks with flowers.
Delivering a sermon, Jayasaro stated that Buddhist monks should renounce all material comforts and focus on meditation to attain nirvana. He added that monks should train other monks and laypeople to strengthen them spiritually and guide them on the path of Dhamma.
Jayasaro will visit various rural locations in Buldhana district and surrounding areas. He will stay at Dhammasara Shantibhumi throughout the journey.
