Intelligence sources have said that terrorists are planning to carry out attacks in Delhi targeting this year’s Republic Day celebrations. Intelligence sources have revealed that Khalistani and Bangladeshi-based terrorist organizations may attempt to carry out attacks in major cities of the country, including Delhi, during these Republic Day celebrations.
Intelligence sources have said that Khalistani and other radical handlers are using local gangsters to undermine the internal security of the country. They said that they have received information that the terror network is expanding in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. In the wake of the blast at the Red Fort in Delhi last year, the authorities were alerted on the warnings of intelligence sources.
All state governments have been instructed to tighten security in the national capital Delhi and other major cities
