Mumbai: Weather update for Mumbai
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain in Mumbai on Monday, according to the latest weather forecast. The IMD said the city and its suburbs will remain “partly cloudy and may receive light rain” during the next 24 hours.
The temperature in Mumbai is expected to remain moderate, with the maximum temperature around 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 24 degrees Celsius. This temperature range gives residents some respite from the heat, especially when light rain is forecast. Apart from the weather forecast, the BMC also releases updates on tidal movements throughout the day. The tide in Mumbai is expected to be around 3.99 metres at 10:50 pm and around 1.32 metres at 4:44 pm. These tidal changes may affect the coastal areas of the city. Residents near the coast are therefore advised to be especially careful during high tide times.
