Hyderabad: A porn addict was arrested by Telangana police on Wednesday. He had killed his teenage daughter after she refused to submit herself to his carnal desires. The killer, identified as Naresh of Nadigadda Thanda in Miyapur area on the outskirts of Hyderabad, had tried to mislead the police by filing a false complaint about his daughter’s disappearance on June 7. Following this, the body of an unidentified girl was found in a forest area. Naresh and his wife had identified it as their daughter. At this point, the Miyapur police intensified the investigation into the disappearance case, which turned into a kidnapping-cum-murder. During the investigation, the police found that Naresh had gone to the forest area on a motorcycle with his daughter but returned alone. “He was questioned based on suspicion and Naresh confessed to killing his daughter. The man is addicted to porn and wanted to have sex with his daughter,” said Inspector V Durga Ram Linga Prasad, who led the investigation team. Investigators found that Naresh took his daughter to a secluded spot on June 7 on the pretext of collecting firewood. On reaching the forest beyond Nadigadda Thanda, he forced her to surrender and sexually exploited him. “When the girl resisted and tried to escape, he hit her on the face and she fell unconscious. Later, he strangulated her and then threw a stone at her to kill her,” the police officer revealed. To mislead the police, he filed a missing person complaint about his daughter and registered a case of kidnapping. Later on June 13, the body of a girl was found in the forest area. Naresh and his wife identified the body as their daughter and the police changed the section from kidnapping to suspicious death. The arrested person hails from Mahabubabad district and came to the city in early June and was working as a delivery boy in a grocery delivery company. He was staying at Nadigadda Thanda in Miyapur. The police again changed the sections of the case to 302,201,376 r/w 511 IPC and 5, 6 r/w 18 POCSO Act. He was sent to judicial custody.
