Telangana: 26 IAS officers transferred

Hyderabad: In a significant reorganisation, around 26 IAS officers in Telangana on Wednesday were transferred or assigned additional full charge (FAC) of other posts. Most of the new posts will relieve officers from the existing burden with additional full charge (FAC) of their respective posts, while others will be given new FACs of other posts. As a result, Dr. Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Additional Director General, MCR HRD Institute, Benhur, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Mines and Geology, relieving A. Shanti Kumari, Principal Secretary, FAC. Labor Commissioner, Ahmed Nadeem, Special Secretary, Finance, FAC, K. Ramakrishna Rao, holding the rank of IAS (1991), holds the post of Principal Secretary, Planning Department. General Administration Secretary, Rahul Bojja has been named Secretary, Revenue and Capturing Areas Development (I&CAD), handing over the secretariat duties to FAC CMO Smita Sabharwal. He has been named Secretary Member, Finance Commission of Telangana State dealing with the cargo of Sandeep Kumar Sultania of FAC. Sangareddy collector A Sharath is the designated secretary of tribal welfare, reporting to Christina Z Chongthu, FAC of Cargo. Director of municipal administration and official nodal for Prajavani state, Harichandana Dasari has been named the new collector of Nalgonda, handing over the charge to FAC’s Hemant Keshav Patil. D Divya, who is awaiting her release, will replace Harichandana. Bharathi Hollikeri, who is looking for a position, has been named director of archaeology, handing over the post to FAC’s Shailaja Ramaiyar. Mahabubabad Collector K Shashank has been named Collector of Rangareddy, who will hand over the cargo to FAC’s Gautam Pottru. Advait Kumar Singh, who returned from Central Deputation, will replace Shashank in Mahabubabad. Post-waiting Chittam Lakshmi has been named Director General of Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Union Limited, handing over the post to FAC’s Aadhar Sinha. Member S Krishna Aditya, secretary of the Telangana State Pollution Control Board, has been transferred and posted as director, labor department. Ayesha Masarat Khanum, Deputy Secretariat of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, is holding the charge of the Secretariat of Sociedad de Institutos Educatives Residentials para Minorios, Telangana State. TS Foods Director General S Sangeeta Satyanarayana has been named Assistant Secretary to the Prime Minister in his office. Jogulamba Gadwal, Collector of Valluru Kranthi has been published as Collector of Sangareddy. BM Santosh, Additional Secretary and Controller of Examinations, Public Service Commission of Telangana State, has been named the new Collector of Jogulamba Gadwal district. Abhilasha Abhinav, who was awaiting nomination, has been made the zonal commissioner of GHMC. In a partial amendment, P Kadirvan, who was designated as Additional Collector (Biological Local) of Jayashankar Bhupalapally district, has now been designated as Additional Collector (Biological Local) of Hyderabad district. Meanwhile, Principal Secretary of Education, B Venkatesham, holds the post of Principal Secretary of Welfare of BC in the FAC. Principal Secretary, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Sandeep Kumar Sultania has been placed in the FAC with the charge of Secretary of the same department, leaving Smita Sabharwal of the FAC. Transport Commissioner, Jyoti Buddha Prakash has been placed in the FAC as Secretary Member, TS PCB, relieving S Krishna Aditya of the said post. Agriculture Secretary, M. Raghunandan Rao, holds the post of Secretary (Political), General Administration Department, FAC. Additional Secretary, Environment, Forest, Science and Technology has been placed in the FAC with the responsibility of Director of AYUSH. D Krishna Bhaskar, Special Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister, holds the post of Special Secretary, Finance and Planning Departments in the FAC. Director of Health and Family Welfare, RV Karnan, holds the post of Director General, Telangana State Infrastructure and Medical Services Development Corporation (TSMSIDC), relevant to the actual functions in FAC. M. Haritha, Education Secretary, holds the charge of Director of Cooperation at FAC and Registrar of Sociedades Cooperative Societies, the charge of which has been handed over to M. Raghunandan Rao of FAC. In a separate order, G Chandrasekhar Reddy, vice-chairman and director general of the Forest Development Corporation of Telangana State, has been named secretary to the Prime Minister in his office. It is also found stored in the FAC of its original destination
