Narayanpet: In a tragic incident, Srikanth (15), a Class 10 student of Buduma Tanda in Hanwada mandal, died untimely due to a heart attack on Friday morning. The incident took place at Tribal Gurukul, a school in Dhanwara. Srikanth, who lives in the school hostel, finished his breakfast and went towards his bedroom where the tragedy occurred. Classmates who witnessed the incident immediately informed school personnel. The school immediately took Srikanth to the health primary center in Dhanwara to receive immediate medical attention. However, doctors at the health center, after providing initial aid, recommended transfer to Narayanpet District Hospital to receive more thorough treatment. Sadly, the medical examination at the district hospital confirmed Srikant’s fall, with the cause of death cited as cardiac attack. The distressed family of the deceased was left in pain. Meanwhile, the Gurukul is now facing questions about the sequence of events that led to the tragic incident. The family said that, despite requesting that their son be taken to a private hospital, he was shifted to a government hospital. Authorities are expected to conduct a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
