People reached the tehsil office for copying, error correction, income, domicile, caste certificate and other revenue related work, but no work was done due to the absence of officers. Tehsildars including Naib Tehsildars are on strike for three days over 17 point demands. The indefinite strike of Tehsildars has also started from today. Due to this, work is stalled in tehsil offices across the state including Raipur. There is silence in tehsil offices due to the strike.
According to the information received, more than 10 thousand cases are pending in Raipur Tehsil Office, but due to the strike, these cases are not being heard. However, a few parties and lawyers are reaching the office to apply for revenue related work and to know the date of hearing. A large number of beneficiaries who reached the tehsil office said that they have been making rounds of the tehsil office for the last three days. After coming here, they came to know that the tehsildar is on strike.
