TB and seasonal disease testing will be done on August 6

Under the guidance of Collector Dharmesh Sahu, a camp has been organized at Crusher Industry Kharri on Tuesday, August 6, in view of the health of the citizens of the mining area with the collective contribution of the Mineral and Health Department of the district and the Crusher Industry Group. TB screening outreach and seasonal disease treatment will be done in this camp. This health camp will run from 11 am till the end. All the concerned RHO women and men, CHO supervisor, in-charge medical officer along with other medical assistants Avinash, Girija Lahare, Dinesh and Sarita Bareth will participate in it. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Tankaram Verma, on the auspicious occasion of Hareli festival, got the beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana in village Sakri of development block Balodabazar inaugurated the house by cutting the ribbon. He congratulated Girjashankar and his family on building a beautiful house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He planted jackfruit and guava trees in the courtyard of the newly constructed house. On this occasion, former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agarwal, former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Sanam Jangde, Collector Mr. Deepak Soni, CEO District Panchayat Ms. Divya Agarwal were present. Beneficiary Girjashankar, a mason by profession, told that earlier he had a kutcha house. In which he had to face many kinds of problems. He had a dream of a pucca house, but due to the poor financial condition, he was unable to muster courage. Meanwhile, in the year 2020-21, housing was approved under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. On receiving the first installment, he started building the house and got a total of one lakh twenty thousand rupees in three installments. He told that by investing some of his own money, he made the house a little bigger. Girjashankar told that his wife Smt. Buddheshwari Verma is getting one thousand rupees every month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He has also got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.

Minister Shri Verma started fish farming by the women of Jai Maa Annapurna Self-Help Group in Amrit Sarovar of village Sakri by putting fish seeds in the lake. Describing fish farming as a profitable business, he asked the women to do fish farming in a better way. The women told that they are going to do fish farming for the first time in this lake. The fisheries department has given 65-70 pieces of Rohu, Katla and Mrigal fish symbolically. After a few days, the department will give about 5000 fish seeds (fingerlings).
