New Delhi (IANS) | A 38-year-old taxi driver was shot dead inside his car by a man over personal enmity in Delhi’s Dwarka area. An official gave this information on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Dhirendra, a resident of Ghalibpur.
According to the police, the incident of murder took place near Khaira Mor on Monday evening at 7.30 pm.
A senior police officer said, Dhirendra was found dead in his taxi. There were gunshot marks on his body. Preliminary investigation has revealed that a suspect Khaira had come to meet him at the turn. The two were sitting in Dhirendra’s car and talking when the suspect shot Dhirendra.
We have formed several teams to nab the accused, the officer said. We have important leads in this case. Prima facie, personal enmity is the suspected reason behind the murder.
