Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition based on the loaded Empowered+ variant launched in India, Know Price

Tata Motors has launched the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition in India. This edition is based on the top-spec Empowered+ variant. This EV is the second Tata EV that gets interior and exterior in black. The battery pack is 55kWh and costs Rs 25,000 more than the regular model. The Dark Edition is priced at Rs 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Mechanically there are no changes on the Curvv EV.

When it comes to exterior, this edition gets blacked out finish. The EV gets 18-inch alloy wheels along with ‘DARK’ badging on the fenders. There are ‘EV’ badges in contrasting blue colour on the front doors.

In terms of interior, there is dark theme in the Curvv EV. The dark theme is extended on the roofliner, dashboard along with leatherette seats. There is a new sunshade in the new Curvv EV edition. In terms of features the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition get 10.25-inch driver’s display along with 12.3-inch touchscreen. The screen gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ambient lighting, JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof and much more. The SUV gets Level 2 ADAS suite along with six airbags, rear parking sensors, TPMS and much more. Safety wise, the Curvv EV gets five stars in BNCAP crash testing.

The Curvv EV is offered with 45kWh battery pack as standard. On the other hand, the Curvv EV Dark Edition gets 55kWh battery pack. The standard EV variant offers 150hp. On the other hand, the Curvv EV Dark Edition generates 167hp. In terms of acceleration, the EV offers 0-100kmph acceleration in 8.6 seconds. Drive modes offered in the EV are Eco, City and Sport. The EV gets 7.2kW AC charger. The battery can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in 7.9 hours. If charged with a 70kW DC fast charger, the EV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes.
