Business Business : After launching the Curve EV last month, Tata Motors has also launched the Curve ICE. The Tata Curve, which now competes in the compact SUV segment, is priced starting at Rs 9,999,000 and goes up to Rs 1,769,000. All these prices are ex-showroom Delhi. These prices are introductory and are valid for bookings until October 31, 2024. We present its features in detail.
The Curve is available in four trim levels: Smart, Pure, Creative and Achieve. Interestingly, the Tata Curve is the 11th car in the compact SUV segment. The Curve is based on Tata Motors’ new Atlas platform. The Tata Curve is different from the Curve EV.
The Curve grille has vents to allow cool air to flow through the engine, and the air dam design is different. The 18-inch alloy wheels also differ from the Curve EV, with a more aerodynamic design required to increase range.
There is a “Curve” logo at the rear instead of the Curve.EV branding found on the Curve EV. However, some similarities remain, including the fact that the SUV has a coupe body design with smooth door handles. Small changes were made to the interior as well. Two colours of Wine and Black were introduced. Like the EV model, there are multiple interior colour options available for different trims.
In terms of features, the Tata Curve gets a four-spoke steering wheel with backlit Tata logo, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system and an available cell phone charger.
The Achieve+ A trim level offers more features. It also has ventilated, six-way electrically adjustable front seats and a two-way adjustable rear seat for the driver. Safety features on the Curve include a 360-degree camera, ADAS Level 2, six airbags, electric stability control, full disc brakes, TPMS and an electronic handbrake with auto-hold.
