Tata Curve Dark Edition has been launched in India and is priced starting at Rs 16.49 lakh. The top spec model is priced up to Rs 19.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Tata Motors introduced the ‘Tata Curve Dark Edition’ during the ongoing season of Tata IPL. According to reports, the Curve Dark Edition is based on the top-spec Accomplished trim. The trim can be powered by a 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre engine produces a maximum power of 125hp and a peak torque of 225Nm. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces a maximum power of 118hp and a peak torque of 260Nm. Both engines can be had with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch AT.

Talking about the interiors, the Tata Curve Dark Edition has a black paint job. The black treatment includes the bumper as well as the grille. The SUV gets 18-inch alloy wheels. The Curve Dark Edition gets full-width LED light bars at the front and rear, silver faux plates, cladding on the wheel arches and more.

The launch of the Tata Curve Dark Edition comes after the launch of the Citroen Basalt Dark Edition. These variants get black-themed interiors and exteriors and are priced starting at Rs 12.80 lakh ex-showroom. The Dark Edition is available with the top-spec Max variant. However, no mechanical changes have been made to the SUV.
The Citroen Basalt, Aircross Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 110hp and a maximum torque of 190Nm with 6MT. The AT version offers 205Nm.
