Tamil Nadu was ignored in the Union Budget statement: Minister S.C. Sivasan

Tamil Nadu: Transport and Electricity Minister S.S. Sivasankar said that Tamil Nadu has been neglected in the Union Budget.
Speaking to reporters after inaugurating various development projects in Perali, Veppur Union, Perambalur district on Monday, the minister further said: “Tamil Nadu has been ignored in the Union Budget. There is no mention of the dues owed to the state, and there are no new announcements.”
“So far, the DMK’s election manifesto has always received a very good response from the people. It reflects the sentiments of the people.”
“Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam leader Vijay does not interact directly with the people and is confined to a small circle, therefore he does not understand the true situation of the country,” the minister said. He added that investigations are underway and necessary steps are being taken regarding the two government bus accidents that occurred in the past year.
