Tamil Nadu: The police administration in Chennai has adopted a strict stance regarding road safety. Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner A. Amalraj stated on Monday that strict action will be taken against parents who allow their minor children to drive. He stated that dangerous activities such as speeding and bike racing not only endanger the lives of drivers but also affect the safety of the public.
The Police Commissioner made this statement during an event held at the Rajaratnam Stadium in Egmore on Monday. A private car company, in collaboration with a major corporation, provided 300 temporary roadblocks to the Chennai Metropolitan Police Department.
At the event, Police Commissioner A. Amalraj accepted the roadblocks provided by the company. He stated that the police are continuously taking new steps to strengthen road safety.
Steps towards strengthening road safety

Warning of Action for Allowing Vehicles to Minors
