Tamil Nadu : A special express train will run from Coimbatore to Chennai on Sunday (8 June).The special train (No. 06028) leaving Coimbatore Podanur at 11.30 pm on 8 June will reach Chennai Central at 8.40 am the next day. In the opposite direction, this train (No. 06027) will leave Central at 10.15 am on 9 June and reach Podanur at 6 pm.
This train will reach Central from Podanur via Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jollarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Tiruvallur and Perambur.
Rameswaram-Sarpalli train: This train (No. 07695) will leave from Sarpalli in Telangana at 4.45 pm on June 11, 18 and 25 and reach Rameswaram at 11.55 pm the next day. In the opposite direction, this train (No. 07696) will leave Rameswaram at 9.10 am on June 13, 20 and 27 and reach Sarpalli at 5.45 pm the next day. This train will reach Rameswaram from Sarapalli via Guntur, Tenali, Nellore, Kuttur, Renikunda, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Tirupathiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur, Muthupettai, Adirampattinam, Pattukkottai, Peravurani, Aranthangi, Karaikudi, Sivagangai, Manamadurai and Ramanathapuram. Booking for these trains has already started.
Partial cancellation: Meanwhile, due to maintenance work, the Erode-Sengkottai Express (No. 16845) departing from Erode at 2 pm on June 7, 9, 12, 14 and 16 will depart from Karur at 3.05 pm instead of Erode. On the other hand, the Sengottai-Erode Express (No. 16846) leaving Erode at 5.10 am on those days will terminate at Karur. Similarly, it has been reported that the train (No. 16843) leaving from Trichy to Palakkad Town at 1 pm on June 12 and 14 will stop at Karur.
