Tamil Nadu : A special train will be run between Pothanur and Chennai for the convenience of passengers.The Pothanur-Chennai special train (No. 06028) will leave Pothanur at 11.30 pm on June 8 and reach Chennai Central Railway Station at 8.40 am the next day.
In the opposite direction, the Chennai-Pothanur special train (No. 06027) will leave Chennai at 10.15 am on June 9 and reach Pothanur Railway Station at 6 pm the same day. It is reported that this train will stop at railway stations including Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jollarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Tiruvallur.
