Tamil Nadu: The interim budget allocated ₹17,088 crore for the Special Project Implementation Department.

The financial statement states:

In Tamil Nadu, under the Non-Multi-Skills Scheme, 4,865,500 skill certificates have been awarded to college students so far. Selected students have participated in international training in England, Japan, and South Korea.

Scholarships and incentives are being provided to ensure that more young people from Tamil Nadu succeed in the Central Government Civil Services exam.

Of the 59 Tamil Nadu candidates who won the Civil Services exam in 2025, 52 were beneficiaries of the ‘I Am the First’ scheme.

Under the Chief Minister’s Scheme in your constituency, which was launched to address ten long-standing demands of the people, 1,410 works have been initiated, orders have been issued for 1,394 works, and 808 works have been completed, at an estimated cost of ₹15,467 crore. The remaining 586 works are ongoing. The interim budget statement provides ₹17,088 crore for the Special Projects Implementation Department.
