Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has reported that light rain is likely in the Western Highlands districts of Tamil Nadu on Sunday and Monday (March 1 and 2).
A press release issued by the Central Government regarding this:
A low pressure area is persisting over the coastal areas of South India. Due to this, isolated light rain is likely in the Western Highlands districts on Sunday and Monday (March 1 and 2). The rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will experience northern weather. Temperatures will also be slightly above normal.
Chennai and its surrounding areas will experience partly cloudy skies, with maximum temperatures expected to hover around 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
