Tamil Nadu: It has been announced that the Chennai Egmore–Sengottai Pothigai Express will operate from Tambaram starting March 17.
In this regard, Southern Railway issued a press release on Friday stating: Development work is currently underway at Chennai Egmore Railway Station. Consequently, the Egmore–Sengottai Pothigai Superfast Express (No. 12661) will depart from Tambaram—instead of Egmore—at 8:02 PM, from March 17 through April 6.
Similarly, it has also been notified that the Tirunelveli–Egmore Nellai Superfast Express (No. 12632) will make a stop at Tambaram from March 16 through April 5.
