Tamil Nadu: Petrol bomb attack on Karti Chidambaram’s MP office

Tamil Nadu: A petrol bomb was thrown at MP Karti Chidambaram’s office in Karaikudi, Sivaganga district, on Tuesday night, causing a commotion.
Sivaganga Lok Sabha member Karti Chidambaram and former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram’s office is located on the north side of Subramaniapuram 1st Street in Karaikudi. They often hold various events, including Congress Party executive meetings, at this office.

Some miscreants threw petrol bombs at the office at midnight and fled. When guard Adikan emerged from the office around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, he saw glass bottles filled with petrol scattered to his left. He immediately informed the Congress administration.
Karakudi Assembly constituency MLA S. Members of Parliament from Mangudi, Congress, DMK, and Communist Party of India gathered at the office.
Meanwhile, Sivaganga District Superintendent of Police Shivaprasad, Taluk Officer Raja, and police officials visited the scene and investigated. Bomb forensic experts collected evidence.
