Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Railway Division has announced that, on the occasion of the festival of Ramadan, train ticket booking centers will remain open until 2:00 PM on March 21.
The Chennai Railway Division issued a press release to this effect on Wednesday. The upcoming Saturday (March 21) is a national holiday on account of Ramadan. Consequently, the ‘Pukar’ computerized train ticket reservation centers operating under the Southern Railway Chennai Division will function from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday. Furthermore, the release also states that the ‘Pukar’ electric trains will operate according to the Sunday timetable on that day.
