Tamil Nadu: All India General Secretary of the Communist Party of India-Marxist, M.A. Baby, will campaign in Thiruvottriyur, Chennai, on Saturday (April 11).
A statement issued by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on this matter: All India General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Baby, will campaign on Saturday in support of Marxist candidate L. Sundararajan in the Thiruvottriyur constituency and DMK candidate T. Velu in the Mylapore constituency. Following this, he will campaign in Palani and Dindigul on April 12 and in Padmanabhapuram on April 20.
Marxist Central Committee member Brindakarat will campaign on Saturday in support of Communist of India candidate K. Marimuthu in the Thiruthuraipoondi (Independent) constituency. On April 12, he will campaign in support of Marxist candidate D. Latha from the Kilvelu (Independent) constituency; on April 13, he will campaign in support of Marxist candidate M. Chinnadurai from the Kandhavakottai (Independent) constituency; and on April 14, he will campaign in support of Marxist candidate L. Sundararajan from the Thiruvottriyur constituency.
Marxist Central Committee member Brindakarat will launch his election campaign on Saturday (April 11) in Thiruthuraipoondi. He will campaign in Kilvelu on April 12, Kandhavakottai on April 13, and Thiruvottriyur on April 14. Central Committee member Prakash Karath is reported to launch his campaign in Padmanabhapuram on April 16. He will then speak in support of DMK alliance candidates in Kandaravakottai on April 17 and in Thiruvottriyur and Anna Nagar seats on April 18.
