Tamil Nadu Integrated Drinking Water Remediation Centre inaugurated by the Chief Minister

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Integrated Drinking Water Remediation ‘Funnel’ Center to address complaints related to drinking water supply in Tamil Nadu.

The Tamil Nadu Drinking Water Supply and Drainage Board has established an Integrated Drinking Water Grievance Redressal ‘Funnel’ Center to facilitate the public in reporting all types of drinking water-related complaints across Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the center via video conferencing from the Secretariat on Wednesday. Toll-free number: This center will be operational 24 hours a day. The public can register all their complaints related to drinking water availability, water quality, and supply disruptions in one place. Complaints will automatically reach the relevant department officials. Subsequently, each complaint will be processed promptly and transparently. This system will significantly reduce delays between departments and ensure speedy resolution of complaints.

The public can lodge complaints through the toll-free number ‘1916’. Complaints can also be sent through the website punal.tn.gov.in and through SMS on ‘WhatsApp’ number 94999-91916.
