Tamil Nadu : A massive explosion took place in a private firecracker factory near Sivakasi this morning (May 25).
A private firecracker factory is running in Ammapatti near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district. Due to the sudden explosion here, the room where the raw material for making firecrackers was kept was burnt to ashes.
In such a situation, the fire department reached the spot and is working to extinguish the fire. Due to the explosion, people got scared as vibrations were felt in the surrounding areas.
Since it was morning time, no employee was present at the spot, due to which a major incident was averted.
Also, the police have registered a case in connection with this incident and are investigating.
