Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister Stalin to visit Madurai today

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is arriving in Madurai on Saturday (February 21). He will dedicate various welfare schemes worth ₹1,805 crore implemented by government departments for the benefit of the people.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will depart from Chennai on a special flight on Saturday morning and arrive in Madurai at 10:30 am. First, he will inaugurate the world-class special engineering center building of Pinnacle Infotech at the Elcott Technology Park in Vadapalanji at 11:35 am.

The Chief Minister, who will then proceed to the Tamukkam area, will inaugurate the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Elevated Bridge, built at a cost of ₹213.80 crore, at 12:25 pm.

Following this, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the newly commissioned statues of the Maruthu brothers in Sivaganga via video conferencing.

At 12:40 p.m., he will inaugurate the upgraded computer lab at the Srimeenakshi Government Girls College in Madurai, costing ₹50 lakh.

Later, at 1:05 p.m., the Chief Minister will dedicate the renovated Vandiyur Kanmai Park, the Ankuran Modern Science Center, built at a cost of ₹3.5 crore, the Vadipatti Town Panchayat Office Building, built at a cost of ₹1.67 crore, and the common drinking water project for 867 rural settlements, built at a cost of ₹1,536.31 crore.

Following this, Chief Minister Stalin will attend and speak at the consultation meeting of DMK South Zone agents and polling station committee members in Uthangudi, Madurai, at 4 p.m.

Later, he will participate in the Makkal Needhi Maiam program at the Gandhi Memorial Museum. He will depart for Chennai by a special flight at 7:30 p.m.
