Tamil Nadu: On Monday, 71 IndiGo flights were canceled at Chennai Airport.
According to reports, 38 departures and 33 arrivals were canceled today. This marks the seventh consecutive day that IndiGo’s flight services have been affected across the country.
IndiGo’s flight services have been severely impacted due to a shortage of flight crew, including pilots and flight attendants, resulting from new flight duty time limitations.
Consequently, thousands of passengers have been severely affected by the cancellation of numerous flights by the airline across several cities nationwide.
Meanwhile, IndiGo’s flight services, which were affected by the crew shortage, are now beginning to recover.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has stated that IndiGo has so far refunded ₹610 crore to passengers for canceled tickets or significantly delayed flights.
Meanwhile, IndiGo has said that it expects the situation to improve by December 10th.
