Take action against teachers who do not reach school on time: Collector

Raigarh. Children are the future of our country, the education department has the responsibility to strengthen its foundation. Collector Karthikeya Goyal said these things in the meeting of the School Education Department. CEO District Panchayat Jitendra Yadav, Joint Collector Risha Thakur were also present on this occasion. Collector Karthikeya Goyal held a meeting of the School Education Department in the Collectorate Hall on Friday and reviewed the work in detail. The Collector said that parents send their children to school with great expectations. It is our great responsibility to give our 100 percent in schools to make their dreams come true. Children have a lot of talent, they just need to give them the right guidance. The environment of schools should be good. Collector Mr. Goyal instructed the DEO to take strict action against teachers who do not come to school on time. Besides, instructions were given to deduct the salary of teachers who are not in school unauthorized and are absent from school without informing and to stop the salary increase. Board exams are going to be held in schools in the coming month, keeping this in mind, conduct the exams successfully. Collector Shri Goyal instructed to do the work of caste certificate of school children on top priority. He said that children need caste certificate for various works like filling applications, scholarships etc.

In its absence their work should not stop. Collector Shri Goyal laid emphasis on providing hot food to the children as per the menu. Providing nutritious food to children is our priority, there will be no compromise in the quality of food. Take feedback from children regarding the quality of midday meal. Collector Shri Goyal took information regarding scholarship and said that scholarship of any school child should not be stopped. On this occasion, District Education Officer B. Bakhala, Assistant Directors K.K. Swarnkar and Tarshila Ekka, District Mission Coordinator Narendra Choudhary, APC Alok Swarnkar, Bhuneshwar Patel, DPO J.K. Rathore, Saakshar Bharat D.K. Verma along with education Other staff of the department were present. Collector Goyal instructed the Education Department to work with personal interest for the personality development of children. He asked to prepare the children for future challenges. He talked about providing career guidance and counseling to the children, so that the children become aware of their future. He said that all teachers should use their experiences for the development of children. Collector Shri Goyal took information about RTE in the meeting of the Education Department. He said that the School Education Department has issued instructions to the DEO to take necessary action regarding admission in schools under the Right to Education Act (RTE). Under which, in the upcoming session, ensure 100% admission of children from poor families in schools on the basis of seats as per rules. The Collector instructed all the cluster educational coordinators present in the meeting to regularly inspect the schools and prepare visit reports for the next two months. He said that in the school where you go, write down the information about the shortcomings, regular attendance of the teachers there etc. He said that he would personally visit the schools and see the registers. If any supply is found, action will be taken against the concerned.
