GANGTOK: Divya Ghimirey, a resident of Syari constituency, has secured a position as a professional nurse at Rems Murr Klinik Winnenden in Stuttgart, Germany.
She has been selected through the Bilingual Vitae and Sikkim Inspires Programme under the State Planning and Development department.
Ghimirey is scheduled to leave for Germany on July 14 to join the hospital, where she will receive an annual salary of approximately Rs. 44.27 lakh, excluding bonuses and overtime.
Ahead of her departure, Ghimirey, along with her family, met local MLA Tenzing Norbu Lamtha and expressed gratitude for his support and guidance.
Congratulating her on the achievement, Lamtha said the initiative was aimed at empowering youth of the constituency with global career opportunities and financial security.
He said the programme aligns with Chief Minister P.S. Golay’s vision of nurturing skilled, confident and globally competitive youth.
