Surat: A brothel running in the guise of a spa was raided.
The women police raided the Welcome Spa located at Sarthana Yogichowk The Palladium Mall, Surat and exposed the brothel running under the guise of the spa. During the raid, the police arrested the owner of the spa, the customer and seized cash worth Rs 26,530. Also the women police freed three Indian women from the spa.
The spa manager used to charge Rs 2000 per customer and give Rs 1000 to the women.
On the basis of the information received, Surat city women’s police raided Welcome Spa at Shop No. 2092, 2nd Floor, The Palladium Mall, Sarthana Yogichowk and busted a brothel running in the guise of a spa. The women’s police arrested the spa owner cum manager Muktiben Rameshbhai Datriye (Resident- 37, Priyanka Megacity, Godadara, Surat) and the customer Rakesh Raghavbhai Jivani (Resident- 44, Eastern Society, Hirabagh, Varachha, Surat, Native- Sukhnath Plot, Gariyadhar, District Bhavnagar) was arrested and cash of Rs 26,530 was seized. Women police took further action by freeing three Indian women involved in prostitution in the name of massage. The manager of the spa, Muktiben used to charge Rs 2000 per customer and gave Rs 1000 to the women.
