Successful organization of district level mega health and assessment camp

Raipur. With the aim of promoting inclusive education, a district level mega health and assessment camp was organized today at Madhavrao Sapre Government Excellent Hindi Medium School, Budhapara, located at Raipur District Headquarters on the instructions of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh.

In the camp, a team of specialist doctors conducted a detailed health check-up of the students. The doctors included psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, ENT (ear, nose, throat) specialist and pediatrician. A total of 135 children were given health check-up and educational assessment in this mega camp. Along with this, UDID cards of 8 children were also made, so that they can get the benefit of various schemes of the government.

This camp was an excellent example of coordination of inclusive education and health services, so that children with special needs can get timely identification and assistance. Assistant Director Seema Gauraha, APC Shyama Tiwari, DEO Himanshu Bharti, DMC K.S. Patel, BEO Dharsiwa Amit Tiwari and other related officers, teachers were present from the state office in the program.
