Vijayanagaram: Centurion University Chancellor Prof. GSN Raju said that youth and students should give priority to sports besides career and education. He said that youth are wasting time on computers and laptops, so advised them to spend time on physical fitness. He was addressing the AP State Weightlifting Association meeting on Monday, which was attended by Arjuna Award winner Neelamsetty Lakshmi and other weightlifters. Lakshmi said that sports help us gain physical and mental strength and stamina. She appealed to public representatives to bring the struggles and problems of sports lovers to the notice of governments and try to solve them. Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohanty said that instead of improving their physical, mental stamina, youth are immersed in mobile addiction. Later, a weightlifting room was inaugurated in the university for the students.
