Raipur. How many varieties of rice are there in Chhattisgarh? In how much time do these varieties get ready? For which environment are they adapted? To study this, a delegation of students from Uzbekistan will reach Chhattisgarh on 20 August.
The delegation will visit Indira Gandhi Agricultural University (IG-KV) and understand the process of research and studies being done on various varieties of rice. To strengthen international education and research cooperation, the first group of students from Uzbekistan will visit Chhattisgarh under the Student Exchange Program. This group will also include a delegation from ICAR, which will meet Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai.
On August 21, Uzbek students will have brainstorming and interaction with experts at IGKV. The university administration has prepared a special program for this. The university management has started preparing for this.
