Gariaband. Selected cadets from the 3rd CG Air Squadron NCC unit of Swami Atmanand School in Devbhog received the opportunity to fly an aircraft. The government provided this opportunity on Children’s Day.
In the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and other cabinet ministers, Commanding Officer Fighter Pilot Wing Commander Vivek Kumar Sahu flew the selected students from rural areas at the Maa Danteshwari Airport in Jagdalpur.
NCC Officer Ganesh Soni stated that the seven selected cadets, Raunak Dewangan, Khushal Sahu, Prashant Dhruv, Gaurav Kashyap, Chandni Sharma, Hansika Awasthi, and Vaishnavi Thakur, flew the microlight Virus SW 80 aircraft and learned the nuances of flying. In addition to takeoff and landing, they also learned about base leg, downwind leg, crosswind leg, and RPM in the circuit pattern scheme. Institute Principal Girish Behera congratulated the students on this significant achievement for students from rural areas.
