Kota: Students preparing for engineering, medical etc. exams in Kota keep taking suicidal steps due to stress. In the latest incident, a student studying for NEET while staying here went missing. Before going missing, he wrote to his family, ‘I am leaving, don’t study me, I will return after five years.’
Rajendra, a resident of Bamanwas of Gangapur City, was preparing for NEET by staying in a PG in Vigyan Nagar area of Kota. He left for coaching from PG on May 6, but did not return. He messaged his family. It was written – ‘I am leaving, don’t let me study, I will return after five years.’ Troubled family members lodged a missing report of the student at Vigyan Nagar police station. Police is busy searching for the student.
The student’s father Jagdish Meena said that after sending the message, he broke the SIM and also sold the mobile. He also wrote in the message that tell mom not to take tension, I will not take any wrong step. I have everyone’s mobile numbers. I will call if needed. After this message, the student’s family members are worried and are also searching for him on a personal level.
It is noteworthy that a large number of students from different parts of the country come to Kota for preparation. But due to the stress of studies, some of them take suicidal steps. Various steps are taken from time to time to protect students from stress.
