Stock market falls after reaching record high

Business Business: Today the stock market once again managed to set a new record. But then the stock market fell. As a result, the Sensex closed down 0.02% (14.57 points) at 84,914.04 today. At the same time, the Nifty closed down 1.35 points at 25,940. Today the Sensex touched an all-time high of 85,163.23. During the same period, the Nifty had reached an all-time high of 26,011.55. In the stock market today, the share price of Tata Steel closed with a gain of more than 4%. Power Grid shares closed 2 per cent up, while Tech Mahindra shares rose 1.88 per cent. Meanwhile, Hindustan Unilever suffered the most decline of 2.46 percent.

Amid fluctuations in the stock market, Tata Steel rose more than 4 per cent to Rs 160.15. Power Grid also rose 2.70% to Rs 350.25, while JSW Steel also rose 1.12% to Rs 992.75. Stocks that fell today include Hindustan Unilever, UltraTech, Kotak Bank and Indus Bank. Sensex and Nifty are currently in a downtrend. Sensex closed 100 points lower at 84,827. But Tata Steel and Power Grid stocks shone. Both are up 3.31% and 2.30% respectively. Nifty also fell 25 points to 25,913 after touching an all-time high of 25,981. Sensex managed to touch a high of 85,058 today thanks to strength in metal stocks. Nifty Metal index rose 2.15%. Nifty Pharma also gained 0.24% and Nifty Media also gained 0.12%. Nifty Healthcare also gained 0.46% and Nifty Auto also gained 0.37%. Sectoral indices that declined included Bank Nifty, Nifty Financial Services, FMCG, IT, PSU Bank, Private Bank, Real Estate, Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Power Grid hit a new record high of 85,036. It managed to break the record high. Tata Steel rose over 3% to gain 1.81% and Power Grid gained 1.41%.
