Korba: When stepmother returned from work and expressed her displeasure at son for not cooking food, the dispute increased. Son and husband together beat her. Dilmohan Das (45), resident of Mandi Para of Bhaisma under Urga police station, has married Siya Kumari for the second time. Dilmohan Das has 18-year-old son Gulshan Das from his first wife, who lives with her husband and stepmother. On Sunday, Siya Kumari had gone out to work, from where she returned home at around 12 noon, Gulshan had not cooked food. Siya Kumari expressed her displeasure at her son.
This enraged Gulshan and he started abusing and beating his stepmother. When husband Dilmohan Das reached there, he beat Siya Kumari accusing her of beating his son. Father and son together beat Siya. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim.
