Raipur. At the hearing held today, Bilaspur High Court has rejected the petition filed against the establishment of Gems and Jewelery Park in Pandritarai, Raipur’s Agricultural Produce Market (Krishi Upaj Mandi), considering it baseless. As a result, the issue of setting up of Gems and Jewelery Park at Pandritrai has been resolved. Chhattisgarh Government will establish the Gems and Jewelery Park in Pandritarai Raipur on 10 lakh square feet area, and about two thousand shops will be built here. This will be the fourth largest Gems and Jewelery Park in the country.
It is known that in the year 2020, former MLA Mr. Devji Bhai Patel had filed a petition before High Court Bilaspur challenging the allotment of agricultural produce market (Krishi Upaj Mandi) by the Government of Chhattisgarh for Gems and Jewelery Park, and the stay order was issued for the last several years.
