Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being organized to make the benefits of the public welfare schemes being run under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi easily accessible to the common people and to provide information in this regard. The Prachar Rath of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra propagated the schemes of Central and State Government in the camp organized in Gram Panchayat Gopalpur and Khairjhiti of Mahasamund district on Friday. In the program organized, chief guest Moti Sahu informed the people present about the objective and welfare schemes of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
He said that work is being done to deliver 100% benefits of various schemes run by the Central and State Governments to the targeted beneficiaries in a time bound manner. Similarly, the Ayushman Card Scheme includes free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh, compensation for damage to crops through the Crop Insurance Scheme, providing water to every home through the Tap Water Scheme and many other welfare schemes which can bring change in the lives of people. BP, sugar testing and medicines were also made available in the camp organized by the Health Department at the camp site. Ayushman Card and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Insurance applications were filled to the beneficiaries. In the camp, the Agriculture Department demonstrated spraying of nano urea in the fields using drones and provided information to the villagers. At the camp site, the beneficiaries narrated the information about the benefits they received to everyone in the form of “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani”. Kusumlata Chelak and Mrs. Janaki Kosle of village Khairjhiti shared the benefits received from the government schemes and the changes in their lives. He told that after getting gas connection under Ujjwala scheme, he got relief from the smoke of the stove. Milan Sahu, a beneficiary of the Prime Minister Samman Nidhi Yojana, said that he has received the amount in 15 installments. Congratulatory letters were given to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kumari Bai Satnami, Rajwantin Bai Tandon, Suresh Kumar Yadav and Ben Bai Dhidhi. Similarly, Chanchal Thakur of Gram Panchayat Kampa was given a certificate of appreciation for completing more than 99 percent work in the implementation of basic components under Digital India Land Records Modernization. For this he thanked the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister with open heart. The villagers were also given a pledge of “Our resolution is developed India”.
