Sundernagar. Sports and Public Works Minister Vikramaditya said that sports quota will be increased from 3% to 5% in Himachal Pradesh to promote sports. During his visit to Sundernagar, he informed that a sports fund will also be set up in the sports department to provide incentives to the sportspersons who have performed well at the international and national level.
In order to promote rural sports, except cricket, the Rural Sports Mahakumbh will be organized in the months of September and October. In this, more than 40 thousand players from Himachal Pradesh will participate in various sports.
