Durg. SP Jitendra Shukla has attached the line to 2 constables of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit (ACCU) in the district. Both the constables are accused of threatening to implicate two brothers of a tea shop operator in a false case. On receiving the complaint, SP took immediate action. According to the information, Domendra Dewangan, who runs a tea shop in front of Polytechnic College, complained to SP Jitendra Shukla. He complained that two constables posted in ACCU, Khurshid Baksh Khurram and Jagjit Singh Jagga, were threatening to implicate him in a false case.
Domendra Devangan has also expressed doubt about the incident of assault and robbery that took place in his tea shop recently. Complainant Domendr has alleged that Saif Irani committed the crime in his shop on the instructions of Jagjit Singh Jagga. Accused Saif along with his two associates came to his shop and threatened his brother and got about 45 thousand rupees transferred to someone’s account. Then they also looted his mobile and ran away from there. Complainant Domendra Dewangan said in the complaint that in another case, constables Khurshid Baksh Khurram and Jagjit Singh Jagga had talked about implicating him and his brothers.
In this case, SP Jitendra Shukla said that a complaint was received against both the constables, on which both of them have been immediately attached to the line. The investigation of the case has been handed over to City Superintendent of Police Satya Prakash Tiwari. Further action will be taken after investigation. CSP Satya Prakash Tiwari said that statements are being recorded. Whatever comes out in the investigation, a report will be submitted for action based on that.
