Sonakshi learned bike riding for Roar, still goes for night rides

Mumbai (IANS) | Actress Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for the release of her first OTT series ‘Dahad’. He learned biking especially for this thriller series. The Bollywood actress says that now riding a bike has become her passion and she goes for rides even at night. Sonakshi plays a super cop in ‘Dahad’ and her look fits the character perfectly. According to sources present on the sets, the actress learned to ride a bike during the shoot itself and has become a very good biker in no time. Her dedication to the role was such that she even rode a better bike than her body double on the sets, which impressed director Reema Kagti as well.

Talking about her love for biking, Sonakshi said, I think I was made for this role. As an actor, we all want to push our limits. This role was like that for me. I had to prepare a lot for this role and riding a bike was one of those fun experiences.

Sonakshi’s passion for biking is not limited to the show. After the shooting of the show got over, he gifted himself a bike and made it a part of his life. She often goes on bike nights with her friends.

He said, once I learned riding, there was no question of stopping for me. Riding became my passion and it continues post shoot as well. Even now I often go out for night rides. My mother worries a lot, but I love it very much.

‘Dahad’ is produced by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. Reema Kagti has also directed it along with Ruchika Oberoi. It is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime Video on May 12.
