Social Justice and Empowerment Minister launches Palanhar Face Recognition Renewal Mobile App

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mr. Tikaram Julie launched the Palanhar Face Recognition Renewal mobile app on Thursday under the Palanhar scheme in the auditorium of Directorate located at Ambedkar Bhavan.
He told that the facility of self-verification and educational renewal of the children by the guardian will be available through mobile at their own level (door step service delivery), which will also save time.
He said that the Palanhar scheme is the flagship scheme of the state government. More than 7 lakh beneficiaries are being given the benefit of the scheme by the state government. In order to make the process of annual verification/renewal accessible, simple and quick under the scheme, the Palanhar mobile app has been developed using technology in addition to the currently available methods of verification/renewal.
This is how verification and renewal will happen –
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister informed that for annual physical verification/renewal through Palanhar Mobile App, Palanhar Mobile App and Face RD App will have to be installed on Android mobile, Android tablet, mobile. On starting the Palanhar mobile app, first of all one has to enter the mobile number and get the OTP. Received OTP After registering, the process of physical verification of the foster will start, during which more than one foster can also be verified during one session.
He informed that through face recognition on Palanhar mobile app, provision has been made for annual verification of Palanhar through the data available on the Aadhaar portal and for annual academic renewal of children being registered in Anganwadi center / studying in school.
Mr. Julie said that at present, annual physical verification/renewal of foster parents/children is done every year under the foster care scheme by the department, which is a regular process. At present, annual physical verification/renewal is being done by linking the foster portal with the portals operated by the departmental and other related departments through online webservice (API) and getting the Janadhar and Aadhaar numbers of the foster children and children matched.
He told that under the Palanhar Yojana, the option of annual physical verification/renewal is available at the E-Mitra Kiosk Center or the block office of the department for such cases of foster parents/children whose annual physical verification is not being renewed through the web service, under which Guardian’s biometric or OTP Through verification and registration of children from Anganwadi center / certificate of studying in school has to be made available.

On this occasion, Mr. Julie gave instructions to ensure speedy implementation of the budget announcements.
Instructing the officers, he said that in connection with the implementation of the budget announcements, action should be taken by setting a time limit to complete the works. He directed the officers to complete the announcements in time.
